Beauty
and the Beast - Music by Alan Menken Lyrics by
Howard Ashman and Tim Rice
Disney's lavish musical is the classic love story of Belle, a
kind-hearted but misunderstood young woman, and the Beast, a pompous
prince who has been turned into an animal by the spell of an enchantress.
To break the spell, the Beast must learn to love and be loved.
Belle could be his chance, if only the Beast can control his anger
and find the heart that he never had as a man. But time is running
out and if he does not learn his lesson soon, he will be doomed
to live in isolation for all eternity. |

Sin Sex and the C.I.A.-
A Comedy by Michael Parker
The title is an apt description of this assemblage
of zany characters that meet up in a CIA ‘safe house’ in the backwoods
of Virginia. A high level meeting of two governments is to take
place when a storm knocks out any and all communication with the
outside world. Nearly every element of comic farce is present
in this show – for an audience that means laughter from beginning
to end! The cast includes a bumbling recent graduate from CIA
school, a very amorous female, a retired military man, a disguised
OPEC negotiator, an incompetent non-chef, and an over the top
bible thumping preacher and his "pure" secretary. |

Virginia, There is A Santa Claus-
A Holiday Classic by Andrew J. Fenady
"Dear Editor, I am eight years old. Some of my little
friends say there is no Santa Claus. Papa says if you see it
in the Sun, it's so. Please tell me the truth. Is there a Santa
Claus?" Ed Mitchell, the Sun's editor, gives the assignment
of answering Virginia's letter to Frank Church who, until his
wife and baby died last Christmas Eve, was the Sun's best and
most dependable reporter. Yes Virginia, There Is a Santa Claus
is a play for young and old, magically reaffirming life's highest
beauty and joy—"the eternal light with which childhood fills
the world."
