 "Bright, brassy, tuneful!" was the Des Moines Register headline describing "Joe Sent Me!" when it debuted in Dubuque in the summer of 1978. Bootleg booze, sexy flappers, colorful gangsters and "Mr. C" highlight the highly anticipated revival of this original musical comedy set in prohibition era Dubuque. A funny, fast paced book by Don & Lauretta Stribling coupled with a clever, melodic score by Paul Hemmer will brighten the Grand stage in March 2007.
