Music Man - This winner of 8 Tony awards, including Best Musical, ran on Broadway for almost 1400 performances. It is the story of fast talking Harold Hill, who cons the good citizens of River City, Iowa into buying musical instruments and uniforms by promising to create a boys' band to play in the fourth of July parade. Not knowing a clarinet from a saxophone or a trombone from a drum, Harold expects to skip town with the cash in hand, only to be caught by the charms of the beautiful Marian, the Librarian, who transforms him into a reformed rogue and respectful citizen by the end of the play. Songs include - Ya Got Trouble In River City; 76 Trombones; Gary, Indiana; Sincere; Till There Was You; and many more.
