Visit an Oliver! Rehearsal
Photographs | Audio Clips

During the last few weeks before a show opens at the Grand you can hear music and lines coming from the theater almost every evening - sometimes late into the night. Dance and music are repeated until the bugs are worked out. Actors practice using the body microphones that some of them will wear during performances and the props & stage crews practice the duties that they will have during performances to ensure it runs smoothly. Technical crews begin running lights and the orchestra starts adding their music during the week before the show. The volunteers at the Grand put in countless hours in preparation for opening night.

Below are some moments captured in photo and audio from an Oliver! rehearsal. Enjoy!
