Grand
History!
The
Grand Opera House is the oldest theater in Dubuque and was built
in 1889-1890 at an estimated cost of $65,000. Done in the Richardsonian
architectural style, the original facade consists of St. Louis
brick facing with Bayfield red sandstone trim. Dubuque's rich
heritage is brought to life at

Appreciation Party
& Willoughby Awards
RESCHEDULED
The
Grand Opera House will celebrate their annual Volunteer
Appreciation Party and Second Annual Willoughby Awards
on Saturday, February 13,
2010, from 5:30-Midnight. This year's celebration will
be held at the downtown Holiday Inn. Attendees are asked
to pay $15.00 for a full buffet dinner including carved
roast beef, fried chicken, tossed salad, mashed potatoes,
vegetables and dessert!
